Judean Hills and Beit Gubrin Tour
The national reserve of Beit Guvrin expands over an area of 1250 acres in the heart of the Judean plateau, An area of hills at the height of 400m .We will visit the Bell Cave, The Sidon Cave as well as the Roman Theatre and St. Anne Church. If time permitting one of the following are available :Latrune, Emmaus Church, the Trappist Monastery, the Armed corps Museum. Caves of Absalom and Caves at Sorek with Stalactites . Visit Kibbutz Tzorah and have lunch in the dining Hall . Tel Azakah, Elah Valley, Park of Britain Reserve. Abu Gosh, visit the Churches. Visiting boutique wineries of the Region.
Judean Desert Safari
Descend to the Judean Desert via the inn of the Good Samaritan. View the caves where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered at Qumran. Drive to Metsuke Dragot Enter the desert with overview of Murabat wadi and the caves where the rebels of Bar Kochba hid. On route stop for a breathtaking view from overlook at Michvar- an ancient Jewish stronghold located on the Jordanian side of the Dead Sea on Mt Moab. Continue to Mt Hassason and Ras Nekeb Kamar. Then onto Wadi Tekoah with a short herbal tea (herbs from local desert vegetation) break along the way. This tour ends with a swim in the Dead Sea. Late lunch stop for snacks/sandwiches on Dead Sea shore. Drive back to Jerusalem with over view of Jericho and old Roman Road.
