Baggage

The baggage storage and lost and found room is located at the western ("kerem") short-term parking lot on the ground level (G). The service is free of charge.Opening Hours: Sunday to Thursday - 08:00 to 20:00. Friday - 08:00 to 15:00. Saturday Night - 20:00 Until Midnight Tel: 03-9754436. Mail:  Lost&F@iaa.gov.il

Currency

Bank Hapoalim and Changeplace provide foreign currency services. The counters are located : in the Landside Building, 3rd floor, at the entrance to Buy & Bye Shopping Mall; and in the Airside Building, at the rotunda.Automatic machines for cash withdrawal have been installed in all the passenger halls at Terminal 3 locations .

Customs

The customs stations are located in the arrivals hall.Inbound passengers will pass through the customs stations, with their baggage, as follows:the green route – passengers with nothing to declare. The red route – passengers bringing with them any sort of electrical appliances valued at $200 or more, and on which customs duty must be paid.>>

Disabled Passengers

Terminal 3 was designed so as to enable disabled passengers to enjoy all the airport's services under their own steam and in person. Likewise, special facilities were adapted for the use of disabled passengers, such as wide and accessorized toilet stalls, lowered telephones and drinking fountains.In any case where assistance is required, please notify the airline in advance in accordance with the regulations of the various airlines.

Duty Free

Picking up your duty free goods :In the arrivals hall, you will find the duty-free pick-up counter where you can collect the duty free goods that you purchased, prior to your departure, at the duty free shops. Please note: in accordance with customs regulations, you will not be able to receive your goods once you have exited the arrivals hall.  Duty free shopping at Ben Gurion airport is competitively priced with a good selection.Even if your flight leaves in the middle of the night, shops are open 24 hours a day 7 days a week which is really convenient. 

Electrical Appliances

The Israeli power supply is single phase 220 volts at 50 Hertz. Most power sockets in Israel have three pin holes, but many of them will work with double-pin European plugs. Visitors who want to use shavers, traveling irons and other small appliances may need both transformers and adaptor plugs. 

Emergency Services

Flight Check-In

Self Check-In through the Internet for departing flights from Ben-Gurion Airport the airlines allow check-in through their internet sites.The check-in through the airline's internet site enables the choice of a preferred seat and issuing of a boarding card, and also saves the queuing time at the airline counters at Ben-Gurion Airport. The service is given to the passengers having an electronic flight ticket. More details may be obtained from the airline's site.

Hotspots WiFi

Hotspots are local WiFi wireless Internet network connections that allow subscribers to surf the Internet via personal computers equipped with a wireless Internet card.Israel has about 800 sites that provide wireless Internet services to mobile computer owners.

Immigration & Visa

Many countries have a Visa Waiver Program with Israel which allows their citizens to visit Israel without a visa arranged in advance. Before embarking on a trip, visitors desiring to stop in Israel on their way to other destinations must check if they need a prearranged tourist visa. The list of countries below specifies from which countries tourists are required to present a prearranged visa. All Visa Waiver Program travelers must present a machine-readable passport at the port of entry  in order to enter Israel without a prearranged visa; otherwise a visa is required.  This applies to tourists arriving with a passage card from countries with a Waiver Program.

Information Desk

The Tourism Bureau Counter is situated in the arrivals hall at Ben Gurion Airport .Tourists arriving in the country can obtain tourist information, including: Information regarding tourist attractions, hotels, public transport etc. Hotel bookings can be made at the counters, 24 hours a day, throughout the week, except for Saturdays and holidays.

Parking Lots

The parking lots in terminal 3 include:
Short term parking:2000  parking spaces, 1750 of which are roofed.Long term parking: near to terminal, 400 parking spaces, 130 NIS for 24-hour parking.Long term parking:  in the entrance to Ben Gurion Airport there are shuttle services, at a daily rate of 40 NIS.The shuttle operates in a frequency of 10-15 min. to and fro, 24 hours a day. Signposts are posted on the access roads directing visitors to the parking lots.  There are also signposts directing visitors to handicap parking spaces.For your convenience, voice response is available at: 03-9723333.

Security

There are five security check areas for departing passengers: A, B, C, D, E. You should arrive for the security check 3 hours prior to takeoff. For your security, a thorough and professional security check is carried out on all passengers, in the ground hall, in the check-in hall and on the ground floor (G). In order to make the process more efficient, there are separate queues for Israeli passport holders and foreign passport holders.For the safety of the flight, all departing passengers undergo a security check consisting of luggage and handbags checks, as well as a physical check. 

Synagogues

There are two synagogues in use in the terminal that serve the public. One is in the Rotunda hall, on the eastern gallery floor no. 1. The other is in the Air Building, in the Rotunda.

Passport 

International travelers come to Israel for a wide variety of reasons, including tourism, business, medical treatment and certain types of temporary work. The type of visa needed is defined by immigration law, and relates to the principal purpose of the traveler. Upon arrival in Israel, visitors are requested to present a passport that is valid for at least six months from the date of their departure Arrival by Air and Land crossings .
